Some surprises...

I will post some  group pictures of my girls in their Easter outfits soon.
I received an Early Birthday Package from my Secret sister in the mail today
and will post pics of that here soon also.

From Child's play to Doll's play...

I cut down two girls dresses to make these summer doll Dresses.

I was able to make 2 doll dresses out of the Blue/Turquoise  dress.
One was made for Nellie's Easter Dress.
It matches her Easter Basket perfectly!

I was only able to make one pink dress to fit an American Girl.
I will use the extra to make a dress for one of my BFC Dolls.
I have sold the Blue Dress and plan on selling the pink one also.

Now I just need to take time to take pictures of my girls
in their Easter Dresses and Easter Baskets!

Easter Secret Sister Package!

Today we received our Easter Secret Sister package!  Was such a pleasant surprise.

Samantha has decided that this was going to be her Easter Dress this year!

All the girls love the new shoes, notebook and stamps!

We will have to see who gets to wear the new shoes for Easter....

Here are their Easter baskets that mom picked up the other day...

Forgot to mention that mom also received another surprise package in the mail.
Mom says its God showing us his love in even the little things in life.
When we show love towards others its his love that is also shown  through us.
It's neat  to see His love in little things  that most people wouldn't think God cares about.
I believe He takes pleasure in showing us His Love the things we enjoy.

My Wardrobe

I still, cant believe that I won this Beautiful "VICTORIAN WARDROBE ARMOIRE" from
The Queens Treasures.

Fed-Ex drove in this morning with my package from The Queen's Treasures...

Caroline, Samantha and Nellie were so excited to get their new Wardrobe.
They wasted no time filling it up with their shoes and clothes.  They even put a basket of their toys on one of the shelves.  They love how beautiful it is in their bedroom!

I feel so blessed to have been drawn to receive this beautiful piece.  Although this piece may be out of most  families price rage, The Queens Treasures does carry a lot of very reasonably priced pieces of  doll furniture, clothes and accessories.  I do hope to add some more of their items to my collection someday.  Some of my favorite being the Tea Cart, Tea Sets and  Baked goods.

Last Sunday I invited a friend to come spend the afternoon with me. We had planned on crafting together but I had woke with a headache that morning and even though I got rid of it my head was not really with it so we just visited and took pictures of her doll with mine. She won a drees in a Contest but didnt really like it on her doll. When she tried it on Nellie thought it looked like was just made for her!

Secret Sister Swap

At the beginning of this year (2013) I started a swap. There are 12 of us in this swap. We are all members of an AG Doll Collector Group on Facebook. Everyone who wanted to be part of the swap sent me their name and address and i had another from the group do the drawing of names so I could be part of the swap and so None of us would know who our Secret Sister is. We have 5 dates picked to send a package. The 1st one was for Valentines Day. Here is what I received from my Secret Sister:

Jean Jacket from old worn pair of Jeans.

This next piece was made from one of my daughters worn out of pair of jeans:

Blessed

The Lord blesses us in many ways. This week he has blessed me through wonderful friends! When we take time to show love to someone it is God saying "I love you!" to them. So thankful for the friends he has blessed me with.
